Indian Institute of Hand Tools, under Sri Pragathi College Committee, located in Venkatagiri, Tirupati District, is a recognized institute by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Ministry of MSME (Government of India). Established in 1992.

A 3-year vocational course in Hand Tool Technology is offered, designed to meet industrial needs. Eligible students will be given apprenticeship opportunities under the Board of Practical Training (BOPT), Chennai.

Free hostel, food, study materials, and workshop facilities are provided. On successful completion, students will receive an ITI equivalent board certificate issued by MSME officials.

Eligibility:

10th pass for 1st-year admission
Intermediate (MPC) or 2-year ITI for direct 2nd-year admission
