### **All India Quota Stray Vacancy Round 2025: 1232 Seats Vacant in MBBS, BDS & Nursing – MCC Issues Key Guidelines 💉📢**
**New Delhi:** The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the seat matrix and important rules for the All India Quota (AIQ) Stray Vacancy Round. A total of **1232 seats** remain vacant across MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc Nursing courses nationwide. This round is considered the **final opportunity** for candidates, especially those with lower NEET scores, to secure admission.
**🔹 Key Guidelines & Details:**
1️⃣ **Fresh Registration:** Candidates can newly register and exercise web options (choice filling) in this round.
2️⃣ **Eligibility:** Only those who **have not been allotted** a seat up to Round 3 are eligible.
3️⃣ **Non-Eligibility:**
* Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 3 but **did not report/join.**
* Candidates currently **holding any seat** under any other State or Central counselling.
4️⃣ **Mandatory Joining:** If allotted a seat, the candidate **must** report to the respective college.
* **Failure to Join:** Will result in **forfeiture of the security deposit** (₹10,000 or ₹5,000) and **disqualification** from all future counselling rounds.
5️⃣ **Security Deposit:**
* ₹10,000 for UR/EWS candidates
* ₹5,000 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates
* Refundable for those who do not get any seat.
**🔸 For Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Candidates:**
Several government medical colleges in both states — including Osmania Medical College (Hyderabad), Govt. Medical Colleges in Sircilla, Karimnagar, and Narsampet — still have vacant seats.
MCC has advised eligible candidates to **apply immediately**, as **cut-off scores may drop** significantly in this final round. Those who haven’t secured a seat yet are strongly encouraged to participate.
