తెలంగాణ, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రాల్లో నీట్ అభ్యర్థులకు సంబంధించి తాజా కౌన్సిలింగ్ అప్‌డేట్‌లు వెలువడ్డాయి. తెలంగాణలో BDS కౌన్సిలింగ్‌లో “పెనాల్టీ లేకుండా ఫ్రీ ఎగ్జిట్” గడువు అక్టోబర్ 28 సాయంత్రం 6 గంటల వరకుగా నిర్ణయించడంతో విద్యార్థులు, తల్లిదండ్రులు గందరగోళంలో పడ్డారు.
MBBS రౌండ్-3 ఫలితాలు ఇంకా విడుదల కాకపోవడంతో, ఇప్పుడు BDS సీటు వదిలేస్తే MBBS సీటు రాకపోతే రెండు అవకాశాలనూ కోల్పోతామేమోనని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ సమస్యను పరిష్కరించేందుకు యూనివర్సిటీ అధికారులు ఫ్రీ ఎగ్జిట్ గడువును పొడిగించాలని నిపుణులు సూచించారు.
ఇక తెలంగాణలో మేనేజ్‌మెంట్ కోటా కింద BHMS కోర్సుల కళాశాల వారీగా అలాట్‌మెంట్ ఫలితాలు విడుదలయ్యాయి. అలాగే AYUSH కన్వీనర్ కోటాలో (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BNYS వంటి కోర్సులు) ఫేజ్-1 తర్వాత 89 సీట్లు ఖాళీగా ఉన్నాయని, అవి రాబోయే రౌండ్-3 కౌన్సిలింగ్‌లో కలపబడతాయని అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు.
మరోవైపు, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో UG AYUSH కోర్సుల (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS) కన్వీనర్ కోటా ఫేజ్-1 అలాట్‌మెంట్‌కు సంబంధించిన రిపోర్టింగ్ గడువును పొడిగించినట్లు అధికారులు ప్రకటించారు.

NEET Counselling Updates: Confusion Over Telangana BDS ‘Free Exit’ — AYUSH Deadline Extended in Andhra Pradesh
Fresh updates have been issued for NEET aspirants from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In Telangana, the ‘Free Exit without penalty’ option for BDS counselling has been set until October 28, 6:00 PM, leading to confusion among students and parents.
Since the MBBS Round 3 results are still pending, many fear that if they exit their BDS seat now, they might end up losing both options if an MBBS seat isn’t allotted later. Experts have advised students to approach the University authorities to request an extension of the free exit deadline to avoid this dilemma.
Meanwhile, BHMS Management Quota allotment results have been released in Telangana. Additionally, under the AYUSH Convener Quota (for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BNYS courses), 89 seats remained vacant after Phase 1 and will be included in Round 3 counselling.
In Andhra Pradesh, officials have announced an extension of the reporting deadline for UG AYUSH courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS) under the Convener Quota Phase 1 allotment.
