హిందూపురం పట్టణంలో జరిగిన ద్విచక్రవాహనాల దొంగతనాల కేసులో ముగ్గురిని పోలీసులు అరెస్ట్ చేసి రిమాండ్‌కు తరలించారు. ఈ విషయాన్ని హిందూపురం డీఎస్పీ కేవీ మహేశ్ గురువారం విలేకరుల సమావేశంలో వెల్లడించారు.
డీఎస్పీ వివరాల ప్రకారం, తూముకుంట చెక్‌పోస్టు వద్ద గ్రామీణ అప్‌గ్రేడ్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ సీఐ ఆంజనేయులు, సిబ్బంది వాహనాల తనిఖీ చేస్తుండగా, రామచంద్రాపురానికి చెందిన సోమశేఖర్ నడుపుతున్న ద్విచక్రవాహనం పత్రాలు లేవని గుర్తించారు. విచారణలో అతను కర్ణాటక రాష్ట్రం గౌరిబిదనూరుకు చెందిన ఉమర్ ఫరూక్, హిందూపురం ఆటోనగర్‌లో నివాసం ఉన్న జామీరాన్ లతో కలిసి వాహన దొంగతనాలకు పాల్పడినట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
ఇంకా విచారించగా, 11 ద్విచక్రవాహనాలను తన ఇంటి పక్కన ఉన్న షెడ్లో దాచినట్లు సోమశేఖర్ ఒప్పుకున్నాడు. వెంటనే పోలీసులు ఆ వాహనాలను స్వాధీనం చేసుకుని పరిశీలించగా, వాటిలో ఒకటి హిందూపురం గ్రామీణ మండలానికి, మరొకటి పట్టణానికి, మిగిలిన 9 వాహనాలు కర్ణాటక రాష్ట్రానికి చెందినవి అని తేలింది.
ముగ్గురిని అరెస్ట్ చేసి కోర్టులో హాజరుపరిచినట్లు డీఎస్పీ తెలిపారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో సీఐలు రాజగోపాలనాయుడు, చంద్ర ఆంజనేయులు, ఎస్సైలు జనార్ధన్ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

🚓 Three Bike Thieves Arrested in Hindupur
Hindupur, News Today:
The Hindupur police have arrested three bike thieves and sent them to judicial remand, said DSP K.V. Mahesh during a press briefing on Thursday.
At the Thumukunta check post, CI Anjaneyulu and his team were inspecting vehicles when they found that Somashekar of Ramachandrapuram was riding a bike without any valid documents. Upon investigation, it was revealed that he, along with Umar Farooq of Gauribidanur (Karnataka) and Zameeran of Hindupur Autonagar, was involved in multiple vehicle thefts.
Further interrogation led to the recovery of 11 stolen bikes hidden in a shed near Somashekar’s residence. On examination, police found that one bike belonged to Hindupur rural area, another to the town, and nine to Karnataka region.
The DSP confirmed that all three accused were arrested and produced before the court.
CIs Rajagopalanayudu, Chandra Anjaneyulu, and SIs Janardhan and others were present at the briefing.
