**Sainik School 2026 Admissions Open**
The Central Government has released the **All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2026 notification** for admission to **classes VI and IX** for the academic year 2026-27. These schools aim to prepare students from school level for careers in the three defense services. The entrance exam will be conducted by **NTA**.
**Eligibility:** For class VI, candidates should be **10–12 years old as of 31st March 2026**. For class IX, candidates should be **13–15 years old** and must have **passed class VIII**.
**Selection:** Through entrance exam.
**Application:** Online.
**Start date:** 10th October 2025
**Last date:** 30th October 2025
**Application fee payment:** 31st October 2025
**Correction window:** 2nd–4th November 2025
**Exam date:** January 2026
