**Public Exams for First-Year Intermediate Students to Continue as Usual 📚📝**
**• Government Decision Based on All Suggestions and Advice 📢**
**Eenadu, Amaravati**: Based on the suggestions received regarding proposed reforms, the government has decided to continue conducting public exams for first-year intermediate students as usual from next year. 🎓✅
The **National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)** syllabus, exam management, and internal marking system were some of the proposals recently announced by the **Intermediate Education Board**. 👩🏫📚 Suggestions and feedback on these proposals were received until **the 26th of this month**.
As per the suggestions, the government has decided to continue conducting **public exams for first-year students** as they are. 🏫📋 This decision is aimed at improving **learning abilities** and keeping the focus on **studies**. 📖💡
The proposal to change the **internal marking system** will be **retracted**. The **NCERT syllabus** will be implemented, and public exams will continue for both **first and second-year** intermediate students under the current system. ✍️
In **Mathematics**, instead of two separate **A and B papers**, there will be a single combined paper. For **Botany** and **Zoology**, there will be one **combined paper** called **Biology**. 🌱🦋
In **language subjects**, **English** will be mandatory, and students can choose **another language** subject as an option. 📖✍️
