న్యూఢిల్లీ: కాల్స్, SMSల కోసం ప్రత్యేక ప్రీపెయిడ్ ప్యాక్స్‌ను టెలికం కంపెనీలు రిలయన్స్ జియో, భారతీ ఎయిర్టెల్ పరిచయం చేశాయి. 84 రోజుల కాల పరిమితితో రూ.499 ధరలో కొత్త ప్లాన్ను ఎయిర్టెల్ అందుబాటులోకి తెచ్చింది. ఈ ప్లాన్‌లో అపరిమిత కాల్స్, 900 SMSలు ఆఫర్ చేస్తారు. అలాగే, రూ.1,959 ధరలో 365 రోజుల వ్యాలిడిటీ గల ప్యాక్ కింద అపరిమిత కాల్స్, 3,600 SMSలు అందించనున్నారు. రిలయన్స్ జియో రూ.458 ధరలో 84 రోజుల కాల పరిమితితో అపరిమిత వాయిస్ కాల్స్, 1,000 SMSలు అందిస్తోంది. ఏడాది కాల పరిమితితో రూ.1,958 ధరలో అపరిమిత కాల్స్, 3,600 SMSలు పొందవచ్చు.
డేటా అవసరం లేకపోయినా బండిల్ ప్యాక్స్ వల్ల కస్టమర్లకు చార్జీల భారం పడుతోందన్న ఫిర్యాదుల భారీ ఎత్తున రావడంతో టెలికం నియంత్రణ సంస్థ ట్రాయ్ గత నెలలో టారిఫ్ నిబంధనలను సవరించింది. దీని ప్రకారం, డేటా అవసరం లేని కస్టమర్ల కోసం వాయిస్ కాల్స్, SMSల కోసం టెలికం కంపెనీలు ప్రత్యేక ప్లాన్లను ప్రవేశపెట్టాల్సి ఉంటుంది.
Prepaid Packs for Calls Only
New Delhi: Telecom companies Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have introduced special prepaid packs for calls and SMS. Airtel has launched a new plan priced at ₹499 with a validity of 84 days, offering unlimited calls and 900 SMS. Additionally, a ₹1,959 pack with a validity of 365 days offers unlimited calls and 3,600 SMS. Reliance Jio is offering unlimited voice calls and 1,000 SMS for ₹458 with a validity of 84 days. A ₹1,958 plan with a validity of one year offers unlimited calls and 3,600 SMS.
Following a large number of complaints from customers about the burden of charges despite no data requirement in bundle packs, the telecom regulatory authority, TRAI, revised tariff regulations last month. As per the new guidelines, telecom companies are required to introduce special plans for voice calls and SMS for customers who do not need data.
