క్యూఎస్‌ వరల్డ్‌ వర్సిటీ ర్యాంకింగ్స్‌లో ‘వీఐటీ’కి చోటు

చెన్నై, మార్చి 12 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): క్యూ ఎస్‌ వరల్డ్‌ యూనివర్సిటీ ర్యాంకింగ్స్‌–2025లో వేలూరు ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ టెక్నాలజీ (వీఐటీ) స్థానం దక్కించుకుంది. 14 పాఠ్యాంశాల బోధనలో అగ్రశ్రేణి విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల సరసన నిలిచింది. డేటా సైన్స్‌ అండ్‌ ఆర్టిఫిషియల్‌ ఇంటెలిజెన్స్‌ (ఏఐ) పాఠ్యాంశాలకు సంబంధించి, వీఐటీ ప్రపంచంలోని టాప్‌ 100 విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల జాబితాలో స్థానం సంపాదించింది.
అంతర్జాతీయ విద్యావిశ్లేషకుడు క్యాక్వారెల్లి సైమండ్స్‌ బుధవారం ఈ జాబితాను విడుదల చేశారు. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా 1700 విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల్లో 55 రకాల పాఠ్యాంశాలపై సమగ్ర విశ్లేషణ చేసి, క్యూఎస్‌ వరల్డ్‌ యూనివర్సిటీ ర్యాంకింగ్స్‌–2025 ఎడిషన్‌ను రూపొందించారు. ఈ విశ్లేషణాత్మక అధ్యయనంలో వీఐటీ విశేష ప్రతిభను ప్రదర్శించింది. 4 పాఠ్యాంశాల ర్యాంకులను మెరుగుపర్చుకోవడంతోపాటు మరో 8 పాఠ్యాంశాల ర్యాంకులను యథాతథంగా కాపాడుకోగలిగింది. మరో రెండు పాఠ్యాంశాలు మొదటిసారి ర్యాంకింగ్‌ జాబితాలో స్థానం సంపాదించాయి. విద్య, పరిశోధన నైపుణ్యాలకు వీఐటీ పెద్దపీట వేస్తుందనడానికి ఈ ర్యాంకులే ఉదాహరణ అని నిర్వాహకులు తెలిపారు.

VIT Secures Position in QS World University Rankings

Chennai, March 12 (Andhra Jyothi): VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) has secured a place in the QS World University Rankings 2025. The institute has positioned itself alongside top universities worldwide in 14 academic disciplines. In the field of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI), VIT has earned a spot in the global top 100 universities.
The international educational analyst, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), released this ranking on Wednesday. The rankings were compiled after comprehensive analysis of 55 academic disciplines across 1,700 universities worldwide. In this analytical study, VIT has shown remarkable performance, improving the rankings of 4 academic disciplines while maintaining the rankings of another 8 disciplines. Additionally, two disciplines have earned a ranking for the first time. The rankings serve as an example of VIT's emphasis on education and research excellence, as highlighted by the administrators.
