Sakshi, Amaravati: APPSC has released the schedule for several recruitment exams for different department posts. These exams will be conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. Hall tickets can be downloaded from https://psc.ap.gov.in, said Secretary Rajababu.

For the Assistant Director posts in the Welfare Department for persons with disabilities, transgenders, and senior citizens, the exams will be held on the 27th (Paper-2, afternoon) and 28th (Paper-1, morning) of this month.

For Librarian posts in the State Medical and Health Department, Paper-2 will be on the 27th morning, and Paper-1 on the 28th morning.

The Mains exam for Fisheries Development Officer posts in the Fisheries Department will be held on the 28th (Paper-1, morning), 30th (Paper-2, morning), and 30th (Paper-3, afternoon).

Ordinance issued for SC classification

Sakshi, Amaravati: The state government has issued an ordinance to implement sub-categorization within the Scheduled Castes (SC). The cabinet had approved a draft ordinance on the 15th of this month and sent it to the Governor. After receiving the Governor’s assent, the ordinance was officially issued on Thursday. As part of the implementation, 59 sub-castes within the Scheduled Castes in the state will be divided into three groups for the purpose of reservations. The 200-point roster system will be applied in two segments: 1–100 and 101–200.

> **Group-1:** 1% reservation for 12 Relli sub-castes. These include Bapuri, Chachati, Chandala, Dandasi, Dom, Ghasi, Godagali, Mohtur, Paki, Pamidi, Relli, and Sapru.

In a recent move, the government has sanctioned the creation of 2,260 new Special Education Teacher posts. Among them, 1,136 are SGT (Secondary Grade Teacher) positions and 1,124 are School Assistant posts. These positions will be filled through the District Selection Committee (DSC).
