📍 Amaravati, March 21 (Andhra Jyothi): రాష్ట్రంలో అంగన్వాడీ కార్యకర్తలు, హెల్పర్‌ పోస్టులను భర్తీ చేసేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం గ్రీన్‌ సిగ్నల్‌ ఇచ్చింది ✅. మొత్తం 948 పోస్టులను భర్తీ చేయనున్నట్లు మహిళా, శిశు సంక్షేమ శాఖ మంత్రి గుమ్మడి సంధ్యారాణి తెలిపారు. వీటిలో 160 అంగన్వాడీ కార్యకర్తలు, 60 మినీ అంగన్వాడీ కార్యకర్తలు, 728 ఆయాలు ఉన్నాయి. 🧑‍👩‍👧‍👦

948 Posts of Workers & Helpers to be Filled: Minister Sandhya Rani
📍 Amaravati, March 21 (Andhra Jyothi): The state government has given the green signal to fill the vacant positions of Anganwadi workers and helpers in the state ✅. A total of 948 posts will be filled, including 160 Anganwadi workers, 60 Mini Anganwadi workers, and 728 Ayahs 🧑‍👩‍👧‍👦.

The district collectors will release the notification for these posts on Saturday ✍️. Authorities have been directed to ensure transparency in the recruitment process. The minister clarified that there would be a written examination, and only eligible candidates would be selected 📝.

The minister also mentioned that 139 new Anganwadi centers will be established in tribal areas across the state 🎯. Under the PMJNM program, the central government has allocated ₹20.80 crores for setting up these centers 💰.

She highlighted that the state government is working to strengthen Anganwadi services and increase employment opportunities for women 👩‍👧‍👦. Instructions were given to the concerned authorities to focus on child nutrition and health 🏥.

The minister also stated that a review meeting on the 2025–26 budget for child and women’s development programs was conducted with the officials 📊.

Parigi: The AP Residential Colleges are inviting applications from eligible students for admission to Intermediate and Degree courses (for the academic year 2025-26). Ancient Statue from the 13th Century Found
Kommmadi: An ancient statue of Lord Sri Vishnu has been found at Pedda Rushikonda on the Bheemunipatnam Beach Road. Several tourists noticed the statue partially covered in sand and immediately informed the Archaeology Department officials. The authorities who arrived at the spot inspected the statue and then transported it to the Visakhapatnam Museum.
It is believed that the statue could be from the 13th or 14th century. However, it is common for statues from ancient temples to be submerged in the sea as the temples deteriorate over time. Over the years, these statues may have washed ashore like this, they speculate.
