The Staff Selection Examination 2025 notification for filling teaching and non-teaching posts in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (E.M.R.S.) has been released. These fake websites steal our data and sell it to scammers.

Here are a few ways to identify fake websites:

  - A fake website might have a typo in its name, for example, "https://www.google.com/search?q=go0gle.com" instead of "https://www.google.com/search?q=google.com". Scammers use '0' (zero) in place of 'o'.

  - Be cautious if a website redirects you to another site.

  - Always check if the website URL begins with **"https"**. The 's' indicates a secure site. If it's only "http," it is not secure.

  - Scammers may also use a different domain ending, such as ".net" or ".en" instead of ".com."

In the combined Anantapur district, dozens of cybercrime cases are being registered every month. A young man from the Atmakuru mandal was scammed after he searched for ways to earn extra income online. A person called him and convinced him to invest in an app. He made a small profit for ten days and then invested ₹10,000. After that, the app stopped working and he lost his money. He realized his mistake when he filed a complaint with the cyber police.

When you search for something on a website, a pop-up might appear asking you to "Accept Cookies." If you don't know what this means, you might click "Accept." By doing so, you are allowing scammers to access every detail you enter on that fake website. Later, they will try to scam you over the phone. Experts advise being cautious while browsing online.

District Education Officer U.V. Subbarao Vijayawada, September 20 (Andhra Jyothy): District Education Officer U.V. Subbarao stated in a press release on Saturday that strict action will be taken against private schools if they conduct regular or special classes, examinations, or parent meetings during the Dasara holidays. The State Government has announced 11 days of holidays from the 22nd of this month to October 2nd for the Dasara festival, and these holidays apply to all government and private schools across the district, he said. He warned that if schools are found to be violating these orders by conducting classes, they will face strict action and heavy fines.
