Free DSC Training for SC, ST Candidates

Puttaparthi: The District Social Welfare Officer, Shivaranagaprasad, has announced that the government will provide free training to DSC candidates from SC and ST communities in the district. He urged the concerned communities to make use of this opportunity. The training will be provided at private coaching centers free of cost. He advised that the names of the coaching centers should be selected by the 28th of this month.

Ambedkar Gurukula Entrance Exam Postponed

Anantapur Education: The written examination for admissions to the 5th class and Intermediate first year for the academic year 2025-26 in the Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare (Ambedkar) Gurukula Schools, which was scheduled for April 6, has been postponed. Due to unavoidable circumstances, the exam has been rescheduled to April 13, as announced by K. Jayalakshmi, the Joint District Coordinator of Gurukulas, in a statement on Thursday. Students and parents are advised to take note of the change. They are also advised to reach the exam centers one hour before the exam. In case the student’s photo is incorrectly printed on the hall ticket, they must bring the original photo ID card/ Aadhaar card to attend the exam.

Anantapur Rural: The Department of Welfare for Differently-abled and Senior Citizens, A.D. Vinod, has announced that applications are being accepted for the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) scheme for eligible beneficiaries. A statement was released on Thursday regarding this. Individuals aged 70 years and above can avail free health protection under PMJAY up to ₹5 lakh, irrespective of their social or economic status. Beneficiaries can access nearly 2,000 types of medical treatments. Eligible individuals can register by downloading the Ayushman app from the Google Play Store or through the website https://beneficiary.nha.gov.in/. Applications invited for 42-day TTC

Anantapur Education: The District Education Officer M. Prasad Babu and the Assistant Commissioner of Government Examinations Govindanayak have announced that applications are invited for the Summer Technical Training (42-day TTC) course. The course will be conducted at Government High School No. 2 in the city. The training will be from May 1 to June 11. Applicants are advised to apply online at www.bse.ap.gov.in between April 3 and 25. Offline applications will not be accepted. It was clarified that the candidate must be between 18 and 45 years of age as of May 1 this year.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have passed 10th grade and completed Lower TTC, those who have completed the SSC vocational course, those who hold the vocational qualification certificate issued by the Intermediate Board, candidates with certificates issued by the State Board of Technical Education & Training, those who possess a National Trade Certificate issued by government-recognized ITI institutions, candidates holding a pass certificate issued by the Institute of National Handloom Weaving, those with a Diploma certificate in Karnataka Music (vocal, veena, violin) issued by Telugu University, and those who hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts certificate from any university are eligible to apply.

Education, Job Information - LAWCET 2025 Notification

The Andhra Pradesh Law Education Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET , PGLCET-2025) notification for admission into law courses has been released. The notification is for admissions to 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and 2-year LLM PG courses for the academic year 2023-2026. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education has issued the notification.

Written Exam on June 3, 2025: According to this notification, candidates can apply online from March 26, 2025. The online application process will remain open until April 27, 2025. The LASET 2025 entrance exam will be conducted by the Padmavathi Women’s University. The written exam will be held on June 5, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in an online format.

Eligibility:

  • 3-Year LLB, LLB (Honors) Courses: To be eligible for the 3-year LLB, candidates must have completed a degree with at least 15% marks or be in the final year of the degree. For OBC candidates, a minimum of 42% marks, and for SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 40% marks are required. There is no age limit.

  • 5-Year LLB Courses: For admission into the 5-year LLB courses (BA LLB, BCom LLB, BBA LLB), candidates should have at least 45% marks in Intermediate or its equivalent. Candidates who are in the second year of Intermediate can also apply. For OBC candidates, 12% marks, and for SC/ST candidates, 10% marks are required. There is no age limit.

  • 2-Year LLM Course: For admission into the 2-year LLM course, candidates must have a degree in LLB/BL or be in the final year of their law degree.

RJCSET 2025 Notification: The RCSET 2025 notification for admission to Intermediate courses in 37 Gurukula Residential Junior Colleges across Telangana for the academic year 2025-26 has been released. According to the notification, the online application process for RCSET begins on March 24, 2025, and will be accepted until April 23, 2025. Candidates interested in studying in MPC, BiPC, MEC, and other groups in English medium can apply through the entrance exam. 10,954 Jobs in Telangana Revenue Department: A total of 10,954 Village Revenue Officer (VRO) positions have been sanctioned in the Telangana Revenue Department. The process has been approved by the Finance Department. Applications will be invited from eligible candidates, including those previously working as VROs and VAs in various departments.

14,236 Anganwadi Posts: The Minister for Women and Child Welfare, Panchayati Raj, and Rural Development, Smt. Seethakka, announced that a notification for the recruitment of 14,236 Anganwadi teachers and helpers will be released soon. The recruitment process will follow the new guidelines issued by the central government, which stipulate that both teachers and helpers must have at least an Intermediate qualification. The age limit for recruitment may be 18 to 35 years.

TGSRTC Recruitment: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced that soon, 8088 driver and conductor positions will be filled in TGSRTC through compassionate appointments.

Final MBBS (Part-2) Results Declared
NTR Health University, Newstoday: The Final MBBS (Part-2) Old Regulations results, held in February/March of this year, have been declared. According to the National Medical Council and university regulations, the results were released after including the grace marks. Dr. C.H. Srinivasa Rao, the Controller of Examinations at Vijayawada’s Dr. NTR Health University, confirmed this. Students who have passed are required to attend internship classes starting from April 2. Candidates wishing to apply for re-totaling must submit their applications to the university by April 5. The results have been published on the university's website.

District Tribal Welfare Officer Ramajnaneyulu announced that applications should be submitted by April 4.
