Women, as well as unmarried graduates, can apply for this. Interviews will be conducted to select candidates for training. They will be recruited as Lieutenants. Attractive salary and incentives will be provided. The Indian Army releases notifications twice a year to fill NCC Special Entry posts under the Short Service Commission scheme. You can apply with a degree along with NCC certification.
Applications will be shortlisted based on academic marks. The shortlisted candidates will be recruited as Lieutenants. Those recruited can serve for a period of 10 years. After this period, depending on the organization's needs and the candidates' interests, some will be given permanent commission status. The others will serve an additional four years before retiring.
Being part of prestigious programs as a student can pave the way for excellent opportunities in the future. A good example of this is the National Cadet Corps (NCC). Those holding an NCC certificate are given preference in every recruitment in the defense sector. Special notifications for NCC Special Entry are released by the Army every year. Selection Process:
Interviews will be conducted at selection centers. Candidates from AP and Telangana will have their interviews in Bengaluru. They will go through psychological tests and group activities.
Candidates who join the Army with experience of two years will be promoted to Captain, with a rank of Major after serving for 6 years. After 13 years of service, they can reach the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. From the first month, they will receive a salary of ₹56,100 (Level-10), along with military service pay, DA, HRA, and various allowances. The annual CTC will be around ₹17-18 lakhs.
Interview Stages:
Testing Officer and Interview Officer will conduct interviews in two stages over five days. Stage 1 will select the candidates for Stage 2, where the interviews will take place. Successful candidates will undergo medical tests before starting training.
Selection:
Candidates selected under the NCC Special Entry scheme will undergo 49 weeks of training at the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, starting from October this year. A stipend of ₹56,100 per month will be provided during the training. After successfully completing the training, candidates will receive a Post Graduate Diploma in Defense Management & Strategic Studies.

Eligibility: A degree with at least 50% marks. Final-year students are also eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates must have completed three academic years in the NCC Senior Division Wing, and must have obtained at least a B grade in the NCC certificate.
Age: Between 19 to 25 years as of July 1, 2025. Candidates born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2006, are eligible.

మహిళలు సహా అవివాహిత గ్రాడ్యుయేట్లు వీటికి దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఇంటర్వ్యూలు నిర్వహించి శిక్షణకు ఎంపిక చేస్తారు. వీరిని లెఫ్టినెంట్ హోదాతో నియమిస్తారు. ఆకర్షణీయ వేతనం, ప్రోత్సాహకాలుంటాయి. ఇండియన్ ఆర్మీ షార్ట్ సర్వీస్ కమిషన్ విధానంలో ఎన్సీసీ స్పెషల్ ఎంట్రీ పోస్టుల భర్తీకి ప్రతి సంవత్సరం రెండుసార్లు ప్రకటనలు విడుదల చేస్తోంది. డిగ్రీతోపాటు ఎన్సీసీ సర్టిఫికెట్ ఉన్న వారు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు.
దరఖాస్తులను అభ్యర్థుల అకడమిక్ మార్కులతో వడపోతారు. ఇందులో ఎంపికైనవారిని లెఫ్టినెంట్ హోదాతో నియమిస్తారు. ఎంపికైన వారు 10 సంవత్సరాలు సేవ చేస్తారు. తర్వాత సంస్థ అవసరాలు మరియు అభ్యర్థుల ఆసక్తుల ప్రకారం కొందరిని శాశ్వత ఉద్యోగంలో తీసుకుంటారు. మిగిలినవారికి మరో 4 సంవత్సరాలు సేవ ఇవ్వవచ్చు.
విద్యార్థిగా ఉన్నప్పుడు మంచి కార్యక్రమాల్లో పాల్గొంటే భవిష్యత్తులో అద్భుతమైన అవకాశాలు అందుబాటులో ఉంటాయి. దీనికి ఉత్తమ ఉదాహరణ నేషనల్ క్యాడెట్ కోర్ (ఎన్సీసీ). ఎన్సీసీ సర్టిఫికెట్ ఉన్నవారికి రక్షణ రంగంలో ప్రతి నియామకంలో ప్రాధాన్యం ఉంటుంది. ఆర్మీ ప్రతి సంవత్సరం ఎన్సీసీ స్పెషల్ ఎంట్రీ ద్వారా ప్రత్యేక నోటిఫికేషన్లు విడుదల చేస్తోంది. ఈసారి వెలువడిన ఎన్సీసీ స్పెషల్ ఎంట్రీ వివరాలు ఇలా ఉన్నాయి:
ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ:
ఎంపిక కేంద్రాల్లో ఇంటర్వ్యూ నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఏపీ, తెలంగాణ అభ్యర్థులకు బెంగళూరులో ముఖాముఖి ఉంటుంది. సైకాలజిస్ట్, గ్రూప్ టెస్టుల ద్వారా అభ్యర్థులను ఎంపిక చేస్తారు.
రెండేళ్ల అనుభవం ఉన్నవారికి కెప్టెన్ హోదా, ఆరు సంవత్సరాలు సేవ చేసిన తర్వాత మేజర్ హోదా ఉంటుంది. 13 సంవత్సరాల సేవ పూర్తయిన తర్వాత లెఫ్టినెంట్ కల్నల్ హోదా చేరవచ్చు. మొదటి నెల నుంచే ₹56,100 (లెవెల్-10) వేతనం, మిలట్రీ సర్వీస్ పే, డీఏ, హెచ్.ఆర్.ఏ. తోపాటు అనేక అలవెన్సులు అందుతాయి. ఏడాదికి ₹17-18 లక్షల సీటీసీ పొందవచ్చు.
ఇంటర్వ్యూ దశలు:
టెస్టింగ్ ఆఫీసర్, ఇంటర్వ్యూ ఆఫీసర్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో రెండు దశలుగా ఐదు రోజులు ఇంటర్వ్యూ జరుగుతుంది. మొదటి రోజు స్టేజ్-1లో ఉత్తీర్ణులైనవారిని స్టేజ్-2లో ఇంటర్వ్యూకు పంపిస్తారు. ఇందులో విజయం సాధించినవారికి వైద్య పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించి శిక్షణకు తీసుకుంటారు.
ఎంపిక:
ఎన్సీసీ స్పెషల్ ఎంట్రీ ద్వారా ఎంపికైన వారికి ఈ ఏడాది అక్టోబరులో ఆఫీసర్స్ ట్రైనింగ్ అకాడెమీ, చెన్నైలో 49 వారాలు శిక్షణ ఉంటుంది. ఈ సమయంలో నెలకు ₹56,100 స్టైపెండ్ చెల్లిస్తారు. విజయవంతంగా శిక్షణ పూర్తిచేసిన వారికి డిఫెన్స్ మేనేజ్మెంట్ & స్ట్రాటజిక్ స్టడీస్ లో పోస్ట్ గ్రాడ్యుయేట్ డిప్లొమా లభిస్తుంది.

అర్హత: కనీసం 50% మార్కులతో ఏదైనా డిగ్రీ. ప్రస్తుతం చివరి ఏడాది కోర్సుల్లో ఉన్నవారు కూడా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. అలాగే మూడు అకడమిక్ సంవత్సరాలు ఎన్సీసీ సీనియర్ డివిజన్ వింగ్‌లో కొనసాగి ఉండాలి. ఎన్సీసీ సర్టిఫికెట్‌లో కనీసం B గ్రేడ్ పొందాలి.
వయస్సు: జులై 1, 2025 నాటికి 19 నుండి 25 సంవత్సరాల మధ్య ఉండాలి. జులై 2, 2000 - జులై 1, 2006 మధ్య జన్మించినవారు అర్హులు.
ఆన్లైన్ దరఖాస్తులు: మార్చి 15 మధ్యాహ్నం 3 గంటల వరకు స్వీకరించబడతాయి.
