Ancient **copper plate inscriptions dating back to the Vijayanagara Empire (circa 1576 AD)** have been discovered in **Srikalahasti**, Tirupati district. These copper plates belong to the **hereditary Gurukula family** serving at the **Srikalahasteeswara Temple**.

🧑‍🏫 The inscriptions were found at the residence of **Dr. Parashuram**, who belongs to the family that has been safeguarding them for generations. During the **Karthika month**, the plates were cleaned, and family priest **Singaraju Mani** photographed them and sent the images to **Dr. Muniratnam Reddy**, Director, Epigraphy Department, Mysuru.

🔎 Upon examination, it was confirmed that these inscriptions were issued by **Vijayanagara King Sriranga Raya** in **1576 AD**, granting villages to support **temple services and annadanam (food offerings)** at the Srikalahasteeswara Temple.

Minister for Social Welfare **Dola Sri Balaveeranjaneya Swamy** announced that the Andhra Pradesh Government will provide **free UPSC Civil Services coaching** for unemployed **SC and ST youth**.

He urged all eligible candidates to take advantage of this opportunity. A total of **340 candidates** will receive **free coaching** across the state.

🏫 The coaching will be conducted at **Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Study Circles** located in **Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupati**.

📅 **Training Period:**

👉 From **December 10, 2025 to April 10, 2026** (Four months)

Railway pensioners are advised to **submit their Life Certificates on time** to the concerned authorities, said **Parvesh Kumar**, Secretary, Department of Pensioners.

A **Digital Life Certificate Camp** for railway pensioners was organized on Wednesday at the **K.S.N. Murthy Bhavan**, located in the DRM office premises.

Chief Guest **Parvesh Kumar** stated,
