Pay Scale and Examination

The salary is based on the pay level:

Principal: Level 12
PGT: Level 8
Non-Teaching Staff: Levels 5, 6, 2, and 1, depending on the post.

The examination will be conducted in both Hindi and English. However, regional language papers will be in their respective languages (for example, the Telugu paper will be in Telugu). The exam is an OMR-based, multiple-choice question format.

The syllabus for each post is detailed in the official PDF, which is about 50 pages long. The link will be provided in the description. The Tier 1 exam for TGT includes General Awareness, Reasoning Ability, ICT Knowledge, Teaching Aptitude, and Domain Knowledge. Tier 2 is a subject-specific test.

Educational Qualifications and Age Limit

Principal: A Master's Degree and a B.Ed. from a recognized university. Four years of integrated graduation is also acceptable. Experience is a must for this role.
PGT: A Master's Degree in the relevant subject. For example, for PGT English, you must have a Master's in English; for PGT Biology, a Master's in Botany, Zoology, or Biology is required. For Computer Science, an M.Sc. in Computer Science is acceptable.
TGT: A Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject. You must also have a B.Ed. degree and be CTET qualified.
Female Staff Nurse: B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university.
Hostel Warden: A Bachelor's Degree or a four-year integrated degree course.
Accountant: A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce.
Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): A 12th-grade certificate with a typing speed.
Lab Attendant: A 10th-grade pass with a diploma in Laboratory or a 12th-grade pass with a Science stream.

Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms. The age limit is not exceeding 35 years for most posts, while for others, it may be 55 years (Hostel Warden) or 30 years (Accountant, JSA, Lab Attendant).

Both residents of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are eligible to apply for these teaching and non-teaching positions.
