Location of Rally: Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh).
Applicable States: To enroll eligible candidates into the Army from Six districts of Andhra Pradesh ie. Srikakulam, Vizianagram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna & Yanam district of (union territory Puducherry).
Age Criteria:17-23 Years
Educational Qualification:
- Soldier General Duty- Class 10th / Matriculation with 45% aggregate.
- Soldier Technical- 10+2/Intermediate.
- Soldier Technical (Aviation & Amn Examiner)- 10+2/Intermediate.
- Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant/iNursing Assistant Veterinary- 10+2/Intermediate.
- Soldier Clerk & Store Keeper Technical- 10+2/Intermediate.
- Soldier Tradesman categories- 8th Class Pass.
Training. Duration of training is 49 weeks at OTA, Chennai.
Dates to Apply: 16 August 2021 to 31 August 2021- Print out of admit card can be taken wef 09 Aug 2021 from http://www.joinindianarmy.nic.
Cost of Training: ₹8785/- per week (or as notified from time to time) for the period of candidate’s stay at the Officers Training Academy
Selection Process:
- Physical fitness Test (PFT)
- 1.6 KM run
- Pullups
- 9 feet ditch
- Zig-Zag balance
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Medical Examinations
- Common Entrance Examination (CEE)- written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards.
- Document Verification- Candidates must bring the following documents in original on the day of rally.
- Marks memo- Class 8 / Matric / Intermediate / Graduation etc from recognized School / College / Board / University.
- Admit Card- Print out.
- Nativity Certificate- issued by Tehsildar/District Magistrate.
- Caste certificate- Issued by the Tehsildar/District Magistrate.
- Religion Certificate- Issued by the Tehsildar/District Magistrate.
- School Character Certificate- issued by the School/College Principal/Headmaster.
- Character Certificate- Issued by Village Sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within last six months.
- Unmarried Certificate- Issued by Village Sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within last six months.
- No Involvement Certificate- Certificate of No involvement in criminal cases.
- Parent Consent Certificate. Candidates who are below 18 years of age will have to bring their parents consent certificate.
