2023-24 సంవత్సరానికి గాను వైఎస్ఆర్ లా నేస్తం రెండో విడత నిధుల విడుదలను సోమవారం ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్ జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ప్రారంభించనున్నారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రారంభించిన ఈ కార్యక్రమం రాష్ట్రంలోని జూనియర్ న్యాయవాదులకు తోడ్పాటు అందించడం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుంది. తాడేపల్లి క్యాంపు కార్యాలయంలో జరిగే ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి లాంఛనంగా మొత్తం రూ.7,98,95,000 విడుదలను ప్రారంభించనున్నారు. ఈ మొత్తాన్ని రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా అర్హులైన 2,807 మంది జూనియర్ లాయర్ల ఖాతాల్లో జమ చేస్తారు. ప్రతి న్యాయవాది ఆరు నెలల కాలవ్యవధికి నెలవారీ రూ.5,000, ఈ ఏడాది జూలై నుండి డిసెంబర్ వరకు ఒక్కొక్కరికి రూ.30,000 చొప్పున అందజేస్తారు.

In addition to regular financial assistance, the recent contribution by the Trust has reached Rs.49.51 crore. Over a period of four-and-a-half years, the trust further strengthened its commitment to the welfare of lawyers by disbursing this substantial amount to 6,069 young lawyers. Overall, the programs undertaken by the Advocates Welfare Trust stand as a testament to the importance placed on supporting and nurturing young legal professionals. Through its financial support and diligent supervision, the Trust strives to create an environment where aspiring lawyers can contribute to the legal profession with confidence and stability. It is noteworthy that the formation of the Lawyers' Welfare Trust was made possible with the cooperation of respected members of the legal and financial sectors. The Law and Finance Secretaries have played a vital role in monitoring the activities of the Trust, ensuring transparency and accountability in the allocation of funds. The Lawyers' Welfare Trust, under the guidance of the Advocate General, has been set up with a generous sum of Rs.100 crore for the welfare of young lawyers who have recently graduated from law school. As part of this initiative, to help these lawyers sustain themselves in their chosen profession, Rs. A total of Rs.1.80 lakhs was disbursed over a period of three years with 60 thousand annual installments. To ensure smooth and efficient disbursement of funds, the Trust deposits financial assistance twice a year directly into the bank accounts of eligible advocates. This constant support aims to ease the financial burden that young lawyers often face when starting their legal careers.
The trust has already set aside a substantial amount of Rs.25 crore to meet the various financial needs of lawyers, including loans, group mediclaim policies and other necessary requirements.
