EAPCET: When are EAPCET Results?
* Deadlock with the resignation of the Chairman of the Council of Higher Education
The higher education council is delaying the release of EAPCET results for admissions in engineering, agriculture and pharmacy courses. Due to this, almost 3 lakh students have to wait. Hemachandra Reddy resigned from the post of Chairman of the Board of Higher Education after Vaikapa lost the election and destroyed some important documents. Hemachandra Reddy went on medical leave after Chief Secretary Shyama Rao suggested that he could not accept the resignation as there was no government and he should go on leave if he wanted. Vice Chairman Ramamohan Rao has been entrusted with the duties of the in-charge chairman. There are allegations of delay in the release of EAPCET results. In Telangana, EAPCET results have already been released and they are preparing for counselling. Here the entrance test is completed and acceptance of objections on primary key is also completed. On the other hand, despite the growing demand from students to release EAPCET results in AP, no decision has been announced. The in-charge chairman is not taking any decision on the release of the results as there is no chairman.
