న్యూఢిల్లీ: ఉద్యోగుల ప్రావిడెంట్ ఫండ్ (PF) క్లెయిమ్ ప్రక్రియను ఈపీఎఫ్వో మరింత సులభతరం చేసింది. ఇకపై ఆన్లైన్ క్లెయిమ్ దాఖలు సమయంలో క్యాన్సిల్డ్ చెక్ ఇమేజ్ లేదా పాస్‌బుక్ కాపీ అప్‌లోడ్ చేయాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. అలాగే, బ్యాంక్ ఖాతా యాజమాన్య సంస్థ ధృవీకరణ కూడా అవసరం కాదు.
ఈ మార్పులు మే 28, 2024 నుంచి KYC అప్డేట్ చేసుకున్న సభ్యుల కోసం అమలులోకి వచ్చాయి. ఇప్పటికే 1.7 కోట్లమంది లబ్దిపొందగా, ఇప్పుడు ఈ నిబంధనలు అన్ని సభ్యులకు వర్తించనున్నాయి.
ఈపీఎఫ్వో తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం, యూఏఎన్‌తో బ్యాంక్ ఖాతా అనుసంధానించే సమయంలోనే ధృవీకరణ పూర్తవుతోంది. దీంతో, అదనపు డాక్యుమెంట్లు అవసరం లేకుండా, క్లెయిమ్ సెటిల్మెంట్ ప్రక్రియ వేగవంతమవుతుంది.
ప్రస్తుతం 7.74 కోట్లమంది సభ్యులు ప్రతీ నెలా ఈపీఎఫ్వోలో నిధులు జమ చేస్తున్నారు. వీరిలో 4.83 కోట్లమంది యూఏఎన్‌ను బ్యాంక్ ఖాతాతో అనుసంధానించారు. ఇంకా 14.95 లక్షల ఖాతాల ధృవీకరణ యాజమాన్య సంస్థల్లో పెండింగ్‌లో ఉంది. తాజా మార్పులతో వీరందరికీ లాభం కలిగనుంది.

New Delhi: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has simplified the online PF withdrawal process. Applicants are no longer required to upload a cancelled cheque image or an attested copy of their passbook. Additionally, employer verification of the member's bank account is also no longer necessary.
These changes have been in effect since May 28, 2024, for members with updated KYC. So far, 1.7 crore members have benefited, and the same is now being extended to all members.
According to the Labour Ministry, once a bank account is linked with the UAN, verification is considered complete, eliminating the need for extra documentation. This speeds up the claim settlement process significantly.
Currently, 7.74 crore EPFO members contribute monthly. Among them, 4.83 crore have already linked their UAN with their bank accounts. Verification of 14.95 lakh accounts is still pending with employers, who will also benefit from the updated rules.
