సాక్షి, అమరావతి: ఈ ఏడాది ఇంటర్మీడియట్ పూర్తిచేసి, జేఈఈ–2025 పరీక్షలో అర్హత సాధించిన ప్రత్యేక కేటగిరీ విద్యార్థులకు, ‘ఈ’ (ఎగ్జంప్షన్) పేపర్‌కు మార్కులు కేటాయిస్తూ, ప్రభుత్వం తాజా ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. ఎంపీసీ గ్రూపులో ఉన్న ఈ విద్యార్థులు, నాలుగు సబ్జెక్టులు మాత్రమే రాస్తే సరిపోతుంది. ఐదవ పేపర్ అయిన లాంగ్వేజ్ సబ్జెక్టు నుండి మినహాయింపు ఉంది.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలో, విద్యార్థులు రాసిన నాలుగు పేపర్లలో వచ్చిన మార్కుల సరాసరిని లెక్కించి, అదే మార్కులను ఐదో పేపర్‌కి కేటాయించనున్నారు. ఇది అధికారికంగా లాంగ్వేజ్ పేపర్ మార్కులుగా పరిగణించబడుతుంది.

**Sakshi, Amaravati:** The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued new orders to allocate marks for the ‘E’ (Exemption) paper to *special category students* who have completed Intermediate this year and qualified in **JEE–2025**.
These students, enrolled in the MPC stream, are exempted from writing one subject—**the language paper**. As a result, they need to appear only for **four subjects**.
To ensure fairness, the average marks obtained in the four subjects will now be **calculated and considered as marks for the fifth paper (Language)**.
Last year, some special category students who secured JEE ranks faced admission issues because **IITs count Maths–A and Maths–B papers as one**, and **eligibility requires passing five subjects**.
To avoid such problems this year, the government has decided to assign **average marks of the four passed subjects to the exempted fifth subject**, ensuring that students don’t face any disadvantages in admissions.
