Today's Most Critical Update (August 2, 2025):
KCET 2025 Round 1 Final Seat Allotment Result is expected to be declared TODAY, August 2, 2025. This is the big announcement candidates have been waiting for, following the provisional allotment and objection window.
Current Status and What to Expect:
Provisional Allotment Released: The provisional seat allotment results for KCET and NEET UG 2025 (Karnataka state quota) for Round 1 were released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on August 1, 2025.
Objection Window Closed Today: Candidates who were not satisfied with their provisional allotment had until August 2, 2025, 11:00 AM to raise objections by sending an email to keauthority-ka@nic.in.
Final Allotment After Objections: KEA will declare the final Round 1 seat allotment results after considering the objections received. This declaration is expected today, August 2, 2025.
Exercising Choices (Starts August 4): Once the final allotment is out, candidates who have been allotted seats will need to exercise their choices (Freeze, Float, or Surrender) between August 4 and August 7, 2025.
No Reporting for Provisional Allotment: As this was a provisional list, candidates were explicitly advised not to report to any colleges based on the provisional allotment. Reporting to colleges will only begin after the final allotment and subsequent fee payment/admission order download.
