ఉరవకొండ, సెప్టెంబర్ 6 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): విద్యార్థుల్లో సృజనాత్మకత, జిజ్ఞాసను పెంపొందించేందుకు **తపాలా శాఖ** "దీన్ దయాళ్ స్పర్శ యోజన" పేరిట ఉపకార వేతన పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తోంది. ఈ పరీక్షల ద్వారా చరిత్ర, క్రీడలు, విజ్ఞానం, సమకాలీన అంశాలు, సంప్రదాయాలపై అవగాహన కల్పించడమే లక్ష్యం. తపాల బిళ్లల సేకరణ (Philately) ప్రాధాన్యాన్ని విద్యార్థులకు చేరవేయడమే ఈ పోటీ ఉద్దేశ్యం.
📌 **ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ:**
మొదట **స్క్రీనింగ్ పరీక్ష** ఉంటుంది. ఇందులో జనరల్ నాలెడ్జ్, స్టాంపులు, వర్తమాన అంశాలపై 50 బహుళ ఎంపిక ప్రశ్నలు ఉంటాయి. అర్హత సాధించిన విద్యార్థులు రెండో దశలో **ప్రాజెక్ట్ వర్క్** పూర్తి చేయాలి. జంతువులు, పక్షులు, ప్రదేశాలు, పూలు, సంగీతం వంటి విభాగాల్లో ఒకదాన్ని ఎంచుకుని ప్రాజెక్ట్ సిద్ధం చేసి విజయవాడ తపాలా సర్కిల్ కార్యాలయానికి పంపాలి.
📌 **దరఖాస్తు విధానం:**
విద్యార్థులు తమ **ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయుల ద్వారా ఈనెల 16లోపు** అనంతపురం తపాల శాఖ కార్యాలయానికి దరఖాస్తులు పంపాలి. రూ.200 చెల్లించి ఫిలాటెలీ ఖాతా లేదా ఫిలాటెలీ క్లబ్ ఖాతా తెరవాలి. ఖాతా తెరిచిన వెంటనే రూ.180 విలువైన తపాలా బిళ్లలు అందిస్తారు.
📌 **ఉపకార వేతనం:**
రెండు దశల్లో విజయవంతమైన విద్యార్థులకు ప్రతినెలా **రూ.500 చొప్పున, ఏడాదికి రూ.6,000** ఉపకార వేతనం లభిస్తుంది. దీనికోసం తల్లిదండ్రుల పేరుతో కలిసి తపాల శాఖలో **జాయింట్ సేవింగ్ ఖాతా** తెరవాల్సి ఉంటుంది.

Uravakonda, September 6 (Andhra Jyothi): To encourage **creativity and curiosity among students**, the **Postal Department** is conducting the **Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana Scholarship Exam**. The main aim is to spread awareness among students about history, sports, science, current affairs, traditions, and especially the importance of **Philately (stamp collection)**.
📌 **Selection Process:**
The first stage will be a **screening test** with 50 multiple-choice questions from General Knowledge, Stamps, and Current Affairs. Students who qualify will proceed to the **second stage project work**, where they must select a topic from animals, birds, places, flowers, or music and submit the completed project to the **Vijayawada Postal Circle Office**.
📌 **Application Procedure:**
Students must apply through their **school headmaster by September 16** to the Anantapur Postal Regional Office. A **Philately account** or Philately Club account should be opened by paying **₹200**, after which stamps worth ₹180 will be issued.
📌 **Scholarship Benefits:**
Selected students will receive **₹500 per month (₹6,000 per year)** as a scholarship. For this, they need to open a **joint savings account** with their parents at the post office.
