ఇంటర్నెట్‌ డెస్క్‌: తల్లిదండ్రులకి ఏకైక సంతానంగా ఉన్న ప్రతిభావంతులైన బాలికలకు ప్రోత్సాహకరంగా సెంట్రల్ బోర్డ్ ఆఫ్ సెకండరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ (CBSE) ప్రత్యేక స్కాలర్షిప్ అందిస్తోంది. "సింగిల్‌ గర్ల్‌ చైల్డ్ మెరిట్‌ స్కాలర్షిప్" పేరుతో ఇచ్చే ఈ అవార్డు కోసం 2025 విద్యాసంవత్సరానికి దరఖాస్తుల ప్రక్రియ ప్రారంభమైంది. సీబీఎస్‌ఈ అనుబంధ పాఠశాలల్లో 10వ తరగతి పూర్తి చేసి, ప్రస్తుతం 11వ తరగతి చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థినులు అక్టోబర్‌ 23 వరకు ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఇప్పటికే ఈ స్కాలర్షిప్ పొందుతున్న వారు రిన్యువల్‌కు కూడా అర్హులు.
📌 అర్హతలు & ముఖ్యాంశాలు

10వ తరగతి పరీక్షల్లో కనీసం 70% లేదా అంతకంటే ఎక్కువ మార్కులు సాధించి ఉండాలి.

విద్యార్థిని ప్రస్తుతం CBSE అనుబంధ పాఠశాలల్లో 11 లేదా 12వ తరగతి చదువుతూ ఉండాలి.

ఎంపికైన వారికి ప్రతి నెలా ₹1000 చొప్పున రెండు సంవత్సరాలు చెల్లిస్తారు. ఈ మొత్తం నేరుగా విద్యార్థినుల ఖాతాలో జమ అవుతుంది.

10వ తరగతిలో నెలసరి ట్యూషన్ ఫీజు ₹2500 మించరాదు, అలాగే 11వ, 12వ తరగతులకు ₹3000 మించరాదు.

CBSE పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుతున్న NRI విద్యార్థినులు కూడా అర్హులే, అయితే వీరి ట్యూషన్ ఫీజు నెలకు ₹6000 మించకూడదు.

11వ తరగతి తర్వాత 12వ తరగతికి రిన్యువల్ కోసం మళ్లీ కనీసం 70% మార్కులు సాధించాలి.

తల్లిదండ్రుల వార్షికాదాయం ₹8 లక్షల లోపు ఉండాలి.

పాఠశాలలు అక్టోబర్‌ 30 లోపు దరఖాస్తుల వెరిఫికేషన్ పూర్తి చేయాలి.

📰 CBSE Scholarship: Applications open for ‘Single Girl Child’ Merit Scholarship

Internet Desk: To encourage meritorious girl students who are the only child of their parents, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a special initiative called the Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship. For the academic year 2025, applications have been invited online. Eligible girl students who have passed Class 10 and are currently studying in Class 11 in CBSE-affiliated schools can apply online till October 23, 2025. Students already receiving this scholarship can also apply for renewal.
📌 Eligibility & Key Details

Must have secured at least 70% marks in Class 10 Board Examination.

The applicant must be studying in Class 11 or 12 in a CBSE-affiliated school.

Selected students will receive ₹1000 per month for two years, credited directly into their bank accounts.

Tuition fee should not exceed ₹2500 per month for Class 10 and ₹3000 per month for Class 11 & 12.

NRI students studying in CBSE schools are also eligible, provided their monthly tuition fee does not exceed ₹6000.

Renewal for Class 12 requires a minimum of 70% marks in Class 11.

The annual family income must be less than ₹8 lakhs.

Schools must complete verification of applications by October 30, 2025.
