The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department under Samagra Shiksha has issued an official notification inviting applications from eligible women candidates for the recruitment of 1,095 Non-Teaching and Part-Time Teaching posts in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) across the state.
According to the notification, these vacancies are available in 352 Type-III KGBVs and 210 Type-IV KGBVs. The recruitment process will be conducted through district-level walk-in interviews. In Chittoor district alone, 34 vacancies have been notified. Eligible candidates are advised to apply on or before January 11, 2026.

ANM, Scavenger, Assistant Cook, Computer Instructor, Night Watchman, Head Cook, and Sweeper.
Under Category-IV, the vacancies include:
Warden, Part-Time Teacher, Chowkidar, Head Cook, and Assistant Cook.
The department has specified that women candidates aged between 18 and 45 years are eligible to apply. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC, ST, BC, and EWS candidates, while 7 years relaxation is provided for Persons with Disabilities.
Completed applications must be submitted to the District Samagra Shiksha Office concerned within the stipulated time. Officials have urged eligible women candidates to make use of this opportunity.
Meanwhile, the AP State Teachers’ Union has requested the government to grant TET exemption for in-service teachers. Additionally, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to set up mineral water plants in all government hostels and KGBVs across the state, following directions from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

ఈ నోటిఫికేషన్ ప్రకారం రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా మొత్తం 1,095 ఖాళీలు ఉన్నాయి. వీటిలో 352 టైప్–III కేజీబీవీలు, 210 టైప్–IV కేజీబీవీల్లో ఈ పోస్టులను భర్తీ చేయనున్నారు. నియామకాలు జిల్లా స్థాయిలో వాక్-ఇన్ ఇంటర్వ్యూల ద్వారా నిర్వహించనున్నారు. చిత్తూరు జిల్లాలో మాత్రమే 34 ఖాళీలు ఉన్నాయి. అర్హులైన మహిళలు ఈ నెల 11వ తేదీలోపు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలని అధికారులు సూచించారు.

వార్డెన్ (3), పార్ట్టైమ్ టీచర్ (3), చౌకీదార్ (2), హెడ్ కుక్ (2), అసిస్టెంట్ కుక్ (2) పోస్టులను భర్తీ చేయనున్నారు.
ఈ ఉద్యోగాలకు 18 నుంచి 45 ఏళ్ల వయస్సు ఉన్న మహిళలు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, బీసీ, ఈడబ్ల్యూఎస్ అభ్యర్థులకు 5 ఏళ్లు, దివ్యాంగులకు 7 ఏళ్ల వయోపరిమితి సడలింపు వర్తిస్తుంది. పూర్తి చేసిన దరఖాస్తులను సంబంధిత జిల్లా సమగ్ర శిక్ష కార్యాలయంలో ఈ నెల 11వ తేదీలోపు సమర్పించాలని ఏపీసీ అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
ఇదిలా ఉండగా, ఇన్-సర్వీస్ ఉపాధ్యాయులకు టెట్ పరీక్ష నుంచి మినహాయింపు ఇవ్వాలని ఏపీ రాష్ట్రోపాధ్యాయ సంఘం ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కోరింది. అలాగే సీఎం చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ఆదేశాల మేరకు, రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న ప్రభుత్వ హాస్టల్స్ మరియు కేజీబీవీల్లో మినరల్ వాటర్ ప్లాంట్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది.
