LIC Scholarship: LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme-2023
Life Insurance Corporation of India... is offering a subsidy under the name of Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme-2023 to poor students who have talent and are unable to pursue higher studies due to financial conditions. Eligible students can apply online by January 14.

Eligibility:
* General Scholarship: Must have passed Inter/Diploma with minimum 60% marks in academic year 2022-23. The annual family income of the student's parents should not exceed Rs.2,50,000. Scholarship is available to students pursuing any Degree, Medicine, Engineering, Integrated, Diploma, Vocational or equivalent courses in Government or Government recognized colleges/ institutions.
* Special Girl Child Scholarship: It aims to promote higher education of girls after 10th standard. Must have passed 10th with minimum 60% marks in academic year 2022-23. The annual family income of the candidate's parents should not exceed Rs.2,50,000. Girls pursuing Intermediate, Vocational, Diploma, ITI courses in Government or Government recognized colleges/institutions will get stipend.
Such assistance:
* Rs.40 thousand is given annually to medical students for general scholarship. Received in three installments (Rs.12000/Rs.12000/Rs.16000) each. For engineering students, Rs.30 thousand will be given per year. It will be paid in three installments (Rs.9000/Rs.9000/Rs.12000). Those doing degree, integrated courses, diploma and vocational courses will be given Rs.20,000 annually till the completion of the course. This amount will be deposited in the bank accounts in three installments (Rs.6000/Rs.6000/Rs.8000).
Under the Special Girl Child Scheme, selected students will be given Rs.15,000 per year. This amount is paid in three installments (Rs.4500/Rs.4500/Rs.6000) to complete Inter, Vocational/Diploma courses after completion of 10th standard.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected for the scholarship on the basis of merit of marks obtained in Tenth or Inter mentioned as minimum qualification, family financial condition. Low income groups will be given first priority.
