**Putlur, November 4 (Andhra Jyothi):** The IKP (Indira Kranthi Patham) office has announced training for setting up banana-based product manufacturing units in the district. Interested youth are invited to apply, and an awareness program will be held on November 6 at the TTDC office in Rapthadu.

Officials explained that nearly 12 types of marketable products can be made from banana plant waste after harvest. Unemployed youth can start small-scale units at home and earn between ₹15,000 and ₹20,000 per month by working just two hours a day.

They also mentioned that the initial investment required for these units will be provided as a loan by IKP, with a 50% subsidy available. Authorities encouraged rural youth to take advantage of this self-employment opportunity to achieve financial independence.
