In Kurnool district, the re-verification of Mega DSC candidates’ certificates is currently underway, said DEO Samuel Paul. A total of 2,588 candidates’ documents are being reviewed by 33 special teams over the past two days. If any discrepancies are found, such as missing TET scorecards, caste certificates, or online application errors, the DEO office is directly calling candidates and asking them to send the required documents via WhatsApp.

In East Godavari, a BC candidate who submitted a caste certificate with her husband’s name was asked to produce either her school TC or a caste certificate with her father’s name. Officials confirmed that such verification issues vary from candidate to candidate.

On Sunday, the third phase of certificate verification will be conducted in Kurnool, covering 33 candidates who have already received call letters. The verification will take place at the District Education Office meeting hall, Collectorate.

Meanwhile, it was also reported that a request was submitted to the Governor to fill 4,500 vacant teaching posts in universities. On the other hand, CBSE candidates are expressing concerns as their applications are being rejected for not having Telugu as the first language, despite completing their D.El.Ed courses. Similarly, Urdu and Kannada medium candidates are also facing rejection due to eligibility issues.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, he said that due to COVID-19, the 27th Convocation (2021 batch) and 28th Convocation (2022 batch) could not be held earlier, and now both will be conducted together at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram under the leadership of Governor & University Chancellor, Justice S. Abdul Nazeer.

🏅 Awards:

53 students (27th Convocation) will receive Gold & Silver Medals.
67 students (28th Convocation) will receive Gold & Silver Medals.

💰 The University has also received a grant of ₹75 lakhs for Research Activities.
