శ్రీ సత్యసాయి జిల్లా, రామగిరి మండలం నసనకోట గ్రామంలో విజయనగర సామ్రాజ్య కాలానికి చెందిన
అరుదైన రాగి పలక శాసనం వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది. ఈ శాసనం సంగమ వంశానికి చెందిన
విజయనగర చక్రవర్తి మొదటి బుక్కరాయల పాలన కాలం (క్రీ.శ. 1352) నాటిదిగా
చరిత్రకారులు నిర్ధారించారు. ప్రముఖ చరిత్ర పరిశోధకుడు మైనాస్వామి, శ్రీధర్ ఈ శాసనాన్ని
గుర్తించి విశ్లేషించారు.
A rare copper plate inscription dating back to the reign of Bukka Raya I,
the Sangama dynasty ruler of the Vijayanagara Empire, has been discovered at
Nasanakota village in Ramagiri Mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district.
The inscription was identified and studied by historian Mainaswamy and researcher Sridhar.

పేరూరు, తిరుమణి, బల్ల సముద్రం వంటి గ్రామాలకు దేశిగౌడల నియామకం
అప్పటి పరిపాలనా విధానానికి స్పష్టమైన ఆధారాలు అందిస్తోంది.
The inscription offers valuable insight into the village-level administrative system
of the Vijayanagara Empire during the 14th century. It clearly records the appointment
of village heads (Gaudas) and reveals the structured governance model adopted by the rulers.
అదేవిధంగా, పెన్నా నది నీటిని కాలువల ద్వారా మళ్లించి వ్యవసాయ భూములను అభివృద్ధి చేసిన విధానం
అప్పటి సాగునీటి నిర్వహణ, వ్యవసాయ ప్రోత్సాహక విధానాలను తెలియజేస్తోంది.
ఈ శాసనం విజయనగర చరిత్రకు మరో కీలక ఆధారంగా చరిత్రకారులు అభిప్రాయపడుతున్నారు.
It also highlights advanced irrigation practices of the time, including the diversion of
Penna River water through canals to support agriculture. Historians regard this inscription
as an important new source for understanding Vijayanagara history.
