National Defense Academy and Naval Academy (NDA and NA) notification has been released by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This exam is intended for admissions to the 154th course, 116th Indian Naval Academy (INAC) course commencing from June 2, 2025 in the tri-services. Eligible male and female candidates can apply.

Eligibility: Apply for Army Wing posts
Cadet Entry Scheme) Vacancies are 34. They must have passed inter with any group. Candidates applying for Air Force and Navy posts through 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme (Indian Naval Academy) must have passed Inter or equivalent course with Physics, Maths subjects. In addition there should be certain physical standards. Those who are currently studying in the second year of Inter can also apply.
Age: Unmarried male and female candidates should not be born before 1st January 2006 and after 1st January 2009.  

Application: Apply online. Selection Process: Candidates in two stages will be selected. The selection process will be conducted on the basis of written test, intelligence-personality test, SSB test/interview, medical test etc.  

Courses: National Defense Academy and Naval Academy (NDA and NA), Army 10+2 BTech cadets who qualify in the entrance exam will be selected for degree courses. Those selected can study their choice in BA, BSc, BTech courses for free.  

Training: Abhaya with final qualification Rthulu will study and train at National Defense Academy, Pune. Later, the army cadets were sent to the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun; Naval cadets to the Indian Naval Academy at Ejimala; Air Force cadets are sent to the Indian Air Force Academy in Hyderabad for relevant trade training.

Candidates who successfully complete the course will be recruited. Entry level officer posts in Army, Navy, Air Force with rank of Lieutenant, Sub-Lieutenant, Flying Officer/ Ground Duty Officer
