అనంతపురం ప్రెస్క్లబ్, ఆగస్టు 26: తపాలా బిళ్లల సేకరణపై విద్యార్థులను ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం భారత తపాలా శాఖ ద్వారా ప్రవేశపెట్టిన దీన్ దయాల్ స్పర్ష్ యోజన పిలాటెలీ స్కాలర్షిప్ పథకాన్ని సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని తపాల శాఖ సూపరింటెండెంట్ గుంపస్వామి తెలిపారు. ఈ మేరకు సోమవారం ఆయన ఓ ప్రకటన విడుదల చేశారు. ప్రస్తుతం ఆరు నుంచి 9వ తరగతి చదివే విద్యార్థులు ఈ స్కాలర్షిప్ పరీక్షకు అర్హులన్నారు. గడిచిన విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో 60 శాతం ఉత్తీర్ణత కలిగి ఉండాలన్నారు. ఎస్సీఎస్టీలకు ఐదుశాతం రిజర్వేషన్ కల్పిస్తారన్నారు. ఈ పరీక్ష రెండు విభాగాలుగా నిర్వహిస్తామన్నారు. ఈ రెండు విభాగాలలో ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించిన వారికి రూ. 6 వేలు స్కాలర్షిప్ అందజేస్తారన్నారు. ఆసక్తిగల విద్యార్థులు వ్యక్తిగతంగా కానీ, స్కూల్ ప్రిన్సిపాళ్ల ద్వారా గానీ ఫిలాటెలీ డిపాజిట్ అకౌంట్ రూ.200తో అనంతపురంలోని ప్రధాన తపాలా కార్యాలయంలో ప్రారంభించాలన్నారు. వివరాలను అప్లికేషన్కి జతచేసి పోస్టుమాస్టర్ జనరల్ కర్నూల్ రీజియన్ కర్నూలు 518002కు పంపాలన్నారు. విద్యార్థులు పంపే కవరుకు ఫిలాటెలీ స్టాంపును అతికించి స్పీడ్ పోస్టు ద్వారా పంపాలన్నారు. ఒక కవర్లో ఒక అప్లికేషన్ మాత్రమే పంపాలన్నారు. సెప్టెంబరు 16లోపు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలన్నారు. వివరాలకు అనంతపురం డివిజనల్ పోస్టాఫీసును సంప్రదించాలన్నారు.

Anantapur Press Club, August 26: Superintendent of Posts Gumpaswamy said that the Deen Dayal Sparsh Yojana Pilatelli scholarship scheme introduced by the Indian Post Department should be taken advantage of by the Central Government to encourage students on collection of postal bills. He issued a statement to this effect on Monday. Presently, students studying in class 6 to 9 are eligible for this scholarship exam. Should have 60 percent pass in the previous academic year. Five percent reservation will be provided for SCSTs. This exam will be conducted in two sections. Those who pass these two sections will get Rs. 6 thousand scholarship will be given.
