KCET 2025: Round 1 Counselling Concluded, Round 2 Dates Expected

The first round of KCET counselling for UGCET 2025 is now complete. The deadline for choice selection, fee payment, and downloading the confirmation slip was on August 14, 2025. All candidates who secured a seat in Round 1 were required to report to their respective colleges by August 15, 2025.

Next Steps and What to Expect for Round 2

The KEA has not yet released the official schedule for KCET Round 2 counselling. However, based on the timeline of previous years, the process is expected to begin soon.

Here's a breakdown of what happens next:

  • Seat Matrix Display: KEA will first publish the seat matrix for Round 2, showing the seats that are vacant from Round 1 (due to candidates not taking up their allotted seats).

  • Fresh Option Entry: The online portal will be opened for fresh option entry. This is your chance to add, delete, or re-order your college and course preferences. This is a crucial step, especially for those who did not get a seat in Round 1 or are looking to upgrade.

  • Seat Allotment: The Round 2 seat allotment results will be released based on the new options entered by candidates.

It is highly recommended that you keep a close eye on the official KEA website for the exact dates and notifications.
