Law College Admission Update 2025
As per the latest court orders and updates regarding law college counselling in Andhra Pradesh, several colleges have been included in the counselling list based on interim orders, but they currently lack official approvals.

Rayalaseema Law College (W.P. No. 24432 of 2025) has been included in the counselling as per court directions, but it does not have approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI) or affiliation with any AP State University.

KMR Law College, Puttur (W.P. No. 17332 of 2025) is also included in counselling as per court orders, but it too lacks BCI approval and University affiliation.

Veeravalli College of Law (W.P. No. 13858 of 2025) is in the same situation — included in the counselling process but without BCI approval or University affiliation.
Applicants who have already given web options for BEST Private University, Ananthapur, are advised to change them, since the college failed to submit BCI approval for the academic year 2025–26.
Attention is also drawn to Sri Venkateswara Law College, Tirupati, which has been given conditional approval by the BCI, subject to an inspection. If the inspection team reports any adverse findings, the BCI approval will be revoked.
Further, for applicants of Visakha Law College, the LLM course code has been changed from LLMCLO to LLMCRM, hence students are advised to recheck their web options accordingly.
Finally, students who were allotted seats in Rayalaseema Law College, Tirupati, and KMR Law College, Puttur, are informed that the Hon’ble High Court, in W.A. Nos. 1118 and 1120 of 2025, has set aside the interim orders earlier granted in W.P. Nos. 24432 and 17332 of 2025. Therefore, these colleges currently have no BCI approval or University affiliation for the academic year 2025–26. In light of these developments, candidates are advised to re-exercise their web options in Phase-II counselling.
