పరీక్షల్లో అక్రమాలు, మోసాలను పూర్తిగా నిరోధించేందుకు యూనియన్ పబ్లిక్ సర్వీస్ కమిషన్ (UPSC) కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ఇకపై యూపీఎస్సీ నిర్వహించే అన్ని పరీక్షల్లో అభ్యర్థులకు డిజిటల్ ముఖగుర్తింపు (Face Authentication) తప్పనిసరిగా అమలు చేయనుంది. ఈ కొత్త విధానం కింద ప్రతి పరీక్ష కేంద్రంలో ‘ఫేస్ ఆథెంటికేషన్ టెస్ట్’ నిర్వహిస్తామని అధికారులు శనివారం వెల్లడించారు. అభ్యర్థులు రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ సమయంలో సమర్పించిన ఫోటోలతో పరీక్ష కేంద్రంలో హాజరైన వారి ముఖాలను డిజిటల్ విధానంలో సరిపోల్చి పరిశీలిస్తారు. ఈ విధానం ద్వారా బదులుగా పరీక్షలు రాయడం, నకిలీ అభ్యర్థులు హాజరుకావడం వంటి అక్రమాలకు పూర్తిగా చెక్ పెట్టవచ్చని యూపీఎస్సీ భావిస్తోంది.

As part of this initiative, ‘Face Authentication Tests’ will be conducted at every examination centre, officials said on Saturday.
