- కోచ్‌ పోస్టులకు 5 ఏళ్ల అనుభవం ఉండాలి. లేదా ఒలింపిక్స్‌/ పారాఒలింపిక్స్‌/ ఇంటర్నేషనల్‌ పోటీల్లో పాల్గొన్న క్రీడాకారులకు 2 ఏళ్లపాటు శిక్షణనిచ్చిన అనుభవం ఉండాలి.
- సీనియర్‌ కోచ్‌లకు 7 ఏళ్ల అనుభవం ఉండాలి.
3. హైపెర్ఫార్మెన్స్‌ కోచ్‌:
9 ఖాళీలు. కోచింగ్‌లో డిప్లొమా/ తత్సమాన అర్హత ఉండాలి. లేదా ఒలింపిక్స్‌/
పారా ఒలింపిక్స్‌/ వరల్డ్‌ ఛాంపియన్‌షిప్‌లో పతకం సాధించాలి. లేదా
ఒలింపిక్స్‌లో రెండుసార్లు పాల్గొనాలి. లేదా ద్రోణాచార్య అవార్డు పొందాలి.
15 ఏళ్ల అనుభవం ఉండాలి.

Sports Authority of India (SAI) invites applications for 214 posts of Assistant Coach, Coach, Senior Coach, High Performance Coach etc. They will be replaced on contract and deputation basis. Interested candidates should apply online.
Contract duration for all posts is one year. Performance is reviewed annually. Candidates who perform satisfactorily may extend their contract for 8 years. Assistant coaches selected on contract basis will be paid Rs.50,300 per month under consolidated pay, coaches will be paid Rs.1,05,000 per month, senior coaches will be paid Rs.1,25,000 per month and high-performance coaches will be paid Rs.2,20,000 per month.
1. Assistant Coach: 117 Vacancies. Coaching Diploma/Equivalent Qualification from SAI or recognized National/Foreign Universities. Or participate in Olympics/ Paralympics/ International competitions. Or should have received Dronacharya award. No work experience is required for these posts.
2. Coach/ Senior Coach: 88 Vacancies. Should have Diploma in Coaching/Equivalent Qualification. Or to win a medal in Olympics/ Paralympics/ World Championships. Or should have participated in Olympics twice. Or participate in Olympics/ Paralympics/ International Games. Or get Dronacharya award.
Coach posts should have 5 years of experience. OR 2 years of experience in coaching sportspersons who have participated in Olympics/ Paralympics/ International competitions.
Senior coaches should have 7 years of experience.
3. High Performance Coach: 9 Vacancies. Should have Diploma/Equivalent Qualification in Coaching. Or to win a medal in Olympics/ Paralympics/ World Championship. Or participate in the Olympics twice. Or get Dronacharya award.
Must have 15 years experience.
As on 30.01.2024 which is the last date to apply.. Assistant Coach should not exceed 40 years, Coach should not exceed 45 years, Senior Coach should not exceed 50 years and High Performance Coach should not exceed 60 years. SC/ ST/ OBC/ OBC (NCL) candidates are subject to reservation and upper age relaxation as per Govt.
Anywhere in the country: Selected candidates will be appointed either at the Register Office in New Delhi or at SAI Centers across the country. So only candidates who are willing to work anywhere in the country should apply. Candidates already working in SAI Regional Offices must submit 'No Objection Certificate'. Otherwise their application will be rejected at the preliminary stage.
