PROCEDURE FOR
ADMISSION INTO GOVT./GRANT-IN-AID/PRIVATE MPHW(F)/ANM COURSE INSTITUTIONS:
EDUCATIONAL
QUALIFICATIONS:
The
Minimum Educational qualification for admission into the Multipurpose Health
workers (Female) Training Course shall be Intermediate pass with any group.
CATEGORISATION OF
SEATS:
(i)
For Government and Grant in aid institutions all seats are "Free
Seats".
(ii)
For Private Institutions, 60% of the total number of seats shall be called
"Free seats" and the remaining 40% shall be called "Management
Seats"
METHOD OF
ADMISSION:
(1)
Admission to "Free seats" shall be made by a selection committee
consisting of the following:
(i) Joint Collector
of the District ...Chairman
(ii) Dist. Medical
& Health Officer ...Member-Convenor
(iii)
Superintendent of the Dist. Hqrs. Hospital ...Member
(iv) Principal of
concerned training institute …Member
The above committee shall make Selections
purely based on merit, on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the
Candidates in the minimum qualifying examination for Multipurpose Health
Workers (Female) Training Course i.e., Intermediate Public Examination or its
equivalent with any group. In deciding such merit, candidates who pass under compartmental
system will be placed after candidates who passed in a single attempt and other
guidelines for finalizing the merit will be followed. In case, same marks have
been obtained, the age shall be taken as criteria for selection of candidates.
(2) The Principals of Private MPHW (F)
Training Institutions shall admit the candidates as allotted by the above
committee on the basis of ranking assigned to them against 607o "Free
seats"
(3) For admission to "Management
Seats" also, the candidates are required to fill up the admission
application form. The institute submits the list of candidates to the selection
committee for its approval. The Selection list should have the photo of the
each candidate against her name.
(4) After approval of the students selection
list will be submitted to the CH&FW, AP, before commencement of Training
Course without fail.
RULES OF
RESERVATION:
Rules of reservation shall be strictly
followed while making selection for both Free and Management quota seats.
Unfilled seats meant for reserved categories shall be kept vacant and shall not
be filled up. The stipulations of
local
area reservations as prescribed in the rules in force by the Education
Department shall be followed. Ex. Servicemen & P.H. quota shall be
followed.
PERIODICITY OF
ADMISSION:
All the Govt. /Grant-in-aid/ Private MPHW
(F)/ANM Course institutions shall admit candidates uniformly once in a year as
per INC regulations.

The Following steps
to be followed for submission of the admission application:
Step
1: Download
the Admission Application form from the Official Website of Commissioner of
Health & Family Welfare Official Website i.e., https://cfw.ap.nic.in. Fill
up all the mandatory fields as per the instructions. (Fill up separate
applications for "Free & Management quota seats" available in the
particular district in Private MPHW (F) Training Institutions)
Step
2: Submit to the concerned DM&HOs
in the district where in the institute located for admission in respect of
Govt./Grant-in aid/ Private MPHW(F)/ANM Course institutions along with
photocopies of the following documents:
(a)
SSC certificate (b) Intermediate certificate
(c)
Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST/BCs)
(d)
Residential Certificate/ Study Certificate from IVth to Xth class
(e)
Registration fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) by way of D.D. in favour of
Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare. A.P. BC/SC/ST candidates are
exempted from payment of registration fee.
Step
3: The Last date for submission of
applications at the concerned DM&HO office in their districts in case of
Govt. / Grant-in-aid/ Private MPHW(F)/ANM Course institutions on or before is
3O-O9-2O24 bv 5.OO P.M. either in person or by Registered post with due acknowledgement.
The Department will not be held responsible for any postal delays for
non-receipt of applications on or before the stipulated date.

For
the Management Quota Seats also. the candidates are required to fill up the
application form and submit the same along with the list of Management quota
admitted candidates to the selection committee for its approval.
·
The
candidates also be informed that the eligible institutes of MPHW(FI/ANM Course
for taking admissions of the Academic Year 2o24-25 are shown in the Annexure (as
per Andhra Pradesh Nursing and Midwifery Council.
·
The
department will not be held responsible for admission of the candidates in a
non-recognized institution (not listed institution).
·
The
Department will not be held responsible for admission on the candidates r(rho
hdve crossed the prescribed maximum age limit as specified in Go.Jlfs.lVo.99
dt.26-O5-2O14 at Para 6 (2).
Entire
process of selection has to be completed by 15-10-2024. As soon as the
selection procedure is completed as per the above instructions and guidelines,
the selection lists duly approved by the Selection Committee members should be
submitted to this office on 31-10-2024
without fail. The selection list should indicate very clearly the numbers of
candidates under free and management quota for each private nursing school
separately and their photos should be affixed against the name of each
candidate.
The District Medical and Health
Officers/Member-Convener of the Selection Committee are requested to follow the
above instructions strictly while making admissions into MPHW(F) Training
Course (2 Years course) for the Academic year 2024-25.
