NEET UG: జులై మూడో వారంలో నీట్‌ (యూజీ) కౌన్సెలింగ్‌ * జులై 18కి విచారణ వాయిదా
నీట్‌ (యూజీ) పరీక్షలో అవకతవకలకు ఆధారాల్లేవని, పరీక్షను మళ్లీ నిర్వహించాల్సిన అవసరం లేదని, జులై మూడో వారంలో కౌన్సెలింగ్‌ ప్రారంభిస్తామని కేంద్రం వెల్లడించింది. ఈ మేరకు సుప్రీంకోర్టుకు అదనపు అఫిడవిట్‌ను సమర్పించింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో జులై 11న సుప్రీంకోర్టులో జరగాల్సిన విచారణ జులై 18కి వాయిదా పడింది. కేంద్రం, జాతీయ పరీక్షల సంస్థ (ఎన్టీఏ) దాఖలు చేసిన ప్రమాణ పత్రం ప్రతులు కొన్ని పక్షాలకు ఇంకా అందలేదని, అందుకే వాయిదా వేస్తున్నట్లు ప్రధాన న్యాయమూర్తి జస్టిస్‌ డి.వై.చంద్రచూడ్‌ నేతృత్వంలోని ధర్మాసనం వెల్లడించింది. తొలుత విచారణను జులై 15న వాయిదా వేయాలని న్యాయమూర్తులు భావించారు. అయితే ఆ రోజు తాను, అటార్నీ జనరల్‌ అందుబాటులో ఉండబోమని సొలిసిటర్‌ జనరల్‌ తుషార్‌ మెహతా తెలపడంతో జులై 11న వాదనలు వింటామని పేర్కొన్నారు. పరీక్షలో చోటు చేసుకున్న అక్రమాలపై దర్యాప్తు చేస్తున్న సీబీఐ.. విచారణ పురోగతికి సంబంధించి స్థాయీ నివేదికను తమకు సమర్పించినట్లు ఈ సందర్భంగా ధర్మాసనం తెలిపింది. నీట్‌ (యూజీ)-2024 పరీక్షా ఫలితాల డేటాను విశ్లేషించి ఐఐటీ మద్రాస్‌ ఇచ్చిన నివేదికతో జులై 10న కేంద్రం అదనపు ప్రమాణపత్రం దాఖలు చేసింది. అవకతవకలు జరిగినట్లు నివేదిక ఎక్కడా ప్రస్తావించలేదని అందులో పేర్కొంది. కౌన్సెలింగ్‌ ప్రక్రియ జులై మూడో వారం నుంచి ప్రారంభం అవుతుందని, నాలుగు రౌండ్లలో నిర్వహిస్తామని తెలిపింది. ఎన్టీఏ విడిగా ప్రమాణపత్రం దాఖలు చేసింది. అందులో జాతీయ, రాష్ట్ర, నగర స్థాయిలో మార్కులపై విశ్లేషణ చేయించామని, ఎక్కడా అసాధారణ స్థాయిలు కనిపించలేదని తెలిపింది.
జులై 11న కేంద్ర విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి దర్మేంద్ర ప్రధాన్‌ను ఆయన నివాసంలో నీట్‌ అభ్యర్థులు కలిశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా పరీక్షపై నెలకొన్న అనిశ్చితి, కౌన్సెలింగ్‌ ప్రక్రియలో కొనసాగుతున్న జాప్యంపై విద్యార్థులు ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
* కీలక సూత్రధారి అరెస్టు
నీట్‌ ప్రశ్నపత్రం లీక్‌ కేసులో పరారీలో ఉన్న కీలక సూత్రధారుల్లో ఒకరైన రాకీ అలియాస్‌ రాకేశ్‌ రంజన్‌ను జులై 11న సీబీఐ అధికారులు పట్నాలో అరెస్టు చేశారు.
The center has revealed that there is no evidence of malpractices in the NEET (UG) examination, there is no need to re-conduct the examination and counseling will be started in the third week of July. A bench headed by Chief Justice Justice DY Chandrachud revealed that copies of the affidavits filed by the Center and the National Testing Agency (NTA) have not yet been received by some of the parties, hence the adjournment. The judges decided to adjourn the initial hearing to July 15. However, after Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that he and the Attorney General will not be available on that day, he said that arguments will be heard on July 11. On this occasion, the bench said that the CBI, which is investigating the irregularities in the examination, has submitted a permanent report regarding the progress of the investigation. On July 10, the Center filed an additional affidavit with the report given by IIT Madras analyzing the NEET (UG)-2024 exam result data. It said that the report nowhere mentions any irregularities. It said that the counseling process will start from the third week of July and will be conducted in four rounds. NTA has filed a separate affidavit. It said that an analysis was done on the marks at the national, state and city level and no abnormal levels were found anywhere.
On July 11, the NEET candidates met Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at his residence. On this occasion, the students expressed concern over the uncertainty over the examination and the ongoing delay in the counseling process.

Rocky alias Rakesh Ranjan, one of the fugitive key masterminds in the NEET question paper leak case, was arrested by CBI officials in Patna on July 11.
