JEE Main 2021 Exam Dates

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2021
Educational Qualification:
Candidates who have qualified their XII or equivalent exam in 2019,
2020 or appearing in 2021 are eligible to sit for JEE Main 2021.
Candidates must have passed qualifying examination with 50% marks in
Mathematics and 50% in aggregate of the QE to sit for B. Planning Paper.
B.E/ B. Tech applicants must have passed the qualifying examination
with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of
the Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject. For
B. Arch, candidates must have passed the Qualifying Examination with
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Age Limit Criteria: There
is no upper age limit for appearing in JEE Main 2021. Candidates who
have passed class 12th or equivalent in 2019, 2020 or appearing in 2021
irrespective of their age can appear in JEE Main 2021.
Maximum number of Attempts:
Candidates can take the exam maximum for 3 years consecutively.
Candidates can sit for both January and April sessions, both of these
will be counted as a single attempt.
Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination:
Candidates must have passed their XII or equivalent exam in 2019, 2020
or appearing in 2021 can sit for JEE Main 2021. Candidates who passed
class XII or QE in 2018 or before as well as those who will appear in
such examination in 2022 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Main
2021.

Mode of Examination: JEE
(Main)-2021 will be conducted in the following modes: a) Paper 1 (B.E.
/B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only. b) Paper 2A
(B.Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer
Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen &
paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size. c)
Paper 2B (B.Planning): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II)and
Planning Based Questions (Part-III) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode
only.
Language Medium: Students
will be able to attempt the paper in English & Hindi. For the
students appearing for the exam in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra
& Nagar Haveli exam centers, the language of paper will be in
English, Hindi & Gujarati.
